I was sixteen when I built my first deck. Not for money—for my family. Twenty years later, I still feel that same weight when I walk onto a job site.

I started this company fourteen years ago because I got tired of watching contractors cut corners and homeowners paying for it twice. Every project felt rushed. Every question got a vague answer. The best craftsmen I knew weren't running the big firms—they were working under them, frustrated, unable to control the outcome. So I built a company the opposite way: slow decisions, fast execution, and zero compromise on detail.
